Bose amp

Hi all, I am new to myg37.com and I have a question. I have a 2013 IPL convertible and the amp Bose amp is a little weak. I also have a 2014 QX80, and that stereo amp seems to be a lot better. I was wondering would the QX80 amp work in my g37? I don't want to change the whole system, it just seems to need more power. Thanks in advance for any information.

WHat you are probably hearing is the "subwoofer" in the QX that the vert does not have.
You'll see it mounted above the spare.

It may be the amp, it might be acoustics and how they react within the parameters of the convertible. It's really tough to say since the way audio gets designed, the audio company and the car manufacturer don't necessarily mesh when it comes to proper speaker placement, acoustics, etc. There could also be issues when you're not getting clean power and maybe a grounding kit will help as well. I don't know enough about the convertibles in particular, but there are lots of factors that could be at play. Maybe someone with a vert can weigh in and see if it's something specific to that model. Good luck.
