I can confirm that the Grom audio adapter works, if there was any question. I thought maybe it would show the song titles on the G37 display, but it does not. It shows the track number, and you can jump forward and backward through whatever list you are listening to, though. It seems like the best solution, and for $150ish not really more expensive than a Tune2Air with multiple adapters. I am satisfied.

Tune2Air WMA1000 + Dockstubz (with microusb power) works perfectly on my 2009 G37x with Navigation for Bluetooth audio with my iPhone 6 and latest iOS update. Same as being plugged into the iPod adapter. Switches from audio to phone calls perfectly. Shows song info. Steering wheel controls work.

I don't think cablejive makes the exact one I bought - can't find it on their site. but the 30 pin adapter should work (dockstubz). this is the scosche adapter:

btw, my android phone works just fine - steering wheel controls work, display kind of works but doesn't display the song titles - just some random text. phone works great.

Thank you! Just got these and I finally have the solution I've been waiting for - works perfectly on my 2009 G37x coupe. Works great with my iphone's music, pandora, youtube, etc.

The only thing I find annoying is that when I get in my car and the bluetooth connects to the Tune2Air it automatically switches to the "ipod" source on the unit. I use my xm radio most of the time - so I have to hit the source button now each time I get in the car to get back to satellite radio.

Does anyone know how to make it so the radio doesn't automatically switch to "ipod" when something is connected to it? I'm not sure there's a setting that can be modified for this. I think I might wire in a switch for the micro usb power for the cablejive adapter - if it isn't getting power I don't think this will happen.

I've found a new version of VISEEO Tune2Air WMA2000 that just plugs in to the USB. $99 works perfectly for my Android phone and it will work for iPhone.
viseeousa.com/products/viseeo-tune2air-wma2000-wireless-bluetooth-music-interface-adaptor-for-in-car-ipod-integration-usb-connector

This works great for my 2013 G37x w/o Nav or AUX.

Nice find. Does it show the track information? Steering wheel controls work? Sound quality is good?

No track info for Android phone. I don't have an iphone to test but the website said it will have track info. Sounds is very good, I haven't experience any lag, skip or distortion at all.

Edit: steering wheel button works to skip tracks

Grom Audio

I just added the GROM-MST3 and GROM-IPD3 (BTD) to my wifes '09 g37 base coupe w/o NAV. She didn't even get a usb port in her car just two rca jacks.

You need both parts from Grom for the Bluetooth to work, and it uses the XM satellite connection.

Now she has Bluetooth streaming of her songs, the artist and song name appear on the screen. She also has handsfree phone calls through a mic (included with Grom BTD) and the car speakers. She can control volume and switch songs with her steering wheel. The music cuts out when a call comes through. It recognizes her Iphone 6 automatically when she gets in the car.

This install was super simple. I totally recommend this.

Happy Wife! Now on to the speakers and amp.

For what it's worth, if you're looking for a Bluetooth receiver the TaoTronics works great, works with steering wheel controls etc

as there's no aux port, a 6 inch 3.5MM RGA Y adapter plug into the middle console (unseen) and anything from my iPhone plays great. I use Synology audio station but iTunes, google music all confirmed to work perfectly and works fine with existing phone Bluetooth service. $20 total.

I do! Works flawlessly in my 2011 sedan non-nav with USB only (no RCA or 3.5mm inputs in console). Android does not send song info to screen, but steering controls work. Also, phone stays connected to the car for phone calls, and to the Bovee adapter for A2DP streaming. I use Google Play Music, no problems at all. Music stops when car turns off, restarts quickly when car restarts. I'm impressed with the value.

I looked at it awhile back (it's an older model) and sounds like people ran into issues as newer OS's came out. There are a number of newer blue tooth adapters that cost less and seem to run into fewer issues.

I think WMA2000s are over priced. (Plus, they are out of stock)

Do you guys think this item would work the same ?

I am streaming music to my radio for about $87. I removed my SAT function. I can stream or use AUX cable.

I bought a module and BT adapter.

Check out my thread for info.
