DEI Xpresskit RSR Remote Start

I just recently purchased a 2012 G37x Sedan, and one of the first things I looked at was getting a remote starter installed on this bad boy. I loved when I read that a DBALL and a T-Harness makes the install easy and allows for integration with the OEM key fob.

Went on xpresskit website to read up on the module and kept getting this warning message saying 3X Lock Start is no longer available...

I'm somewhat confused by this letter: https://www.directechs.com/repositor...Tips/TB116.pdf

What does this exactly mean? I looked up the manual for 402.NISS3HT and it looks like it shows the Push Lock 3 Times feature as how to operate it... so i'm a bit confused...

Anyone know about this and can shed some light?

I haven't ordered anything yet...

Thanks,

Thought I'd answer my own question in case it comes up for anyone else...

basically the DBALL and DBALL2 are being replaced with 4X10 and 5X10. Those are just the names of the new modules/bypasses. They are more expensive but offer more flexibility by allowing you to do programming via the web I guess and other things that I didn't get too detailed about. The 4x10 and 5x10 do have 3XLS (3 push lock to start) just like the predecessor DBALL2.

That is all..

I can't seem to find the 4x10 or the 5x10 for sale anywhere. Where did you find those at?

I am having trouble finding them as well...

I would try this dealer locator first: https://www.directechs.com/Wheretobuy.aspx

OR you can check with this guy... i bought my DBALL2/Harness from him on ebay: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Plug-N-Play-Remote-Starter-for-Nissan-Infinity-with-DBALL2-NISS3HT-T-Harness-/291265297815?pt=US_Remote_Start_Entry_Systems&hash=item43d0c3bd97
He talks about having the new ones in the coming future...

That guy on eBay is basically the only place I could find it. It's odd that the DBALL was so easy to find, yet the new model is nearly impossible.
