battery died, now cd player won't play

battery died, now cd player won't play

Hi

Hoping to get some help. I've search and can't find any answers. Battery died, I jumped started car, now the cd player won't play (ejects fine, accepts cds fine) , music box and ccompact flash options are missing when "disc/aux" button pressed. Only I pod and aux option. Please help

Did you ever figure this out? Sounds like your HardDrive failed you. If you have NAV, try and use that. If not, turn the ignition to "on" and put your ear up to the stereo bezel and try and listen for a HDD boot up sound (SPinning/buzzing sound). It would be easier to remove the trim and listen, but it's up to your skill level. hope you got it figured out

Nope haven't figured it out yet.... it's accepting cds but not playing either...I'll post a solution when I figure it out.
