Climate Control and Radio backlights not working

Hello,

I picked up my car yesterday from body shop and last night I noticed that backlights for the climate controls and radio are not working (completely dark). I've checked all the settings and display controls and messed with them many different ways but cannot get them to work. Anybody have any further troubleshooting suggestions? Maybe a blown fuse? everything is functional btw.

This is a 2009 G37x.

Thanks!

UPDATE

Hope this helps anyone who might have similar problem. My 2009 Infiniti G37x got rear ended and they had to replace the bumper. I got the car back and the center console lights and tail lights were out. Brought the car back to body shop, told them just about the tail lights. They said it was a fuse, replaced it and voila everything was back to normal - tail lights and center console. Infiniti dealer wanted to replace the entire center console unit for 800 bucks!

The fuse box inside the engine bay will have a cover and it will tell you which fuse is for what. If it's not any inside the engine bay there should be more inside the vehicle.

ive checked the fuses.. kind of blindly.. i dont have a manual and none of them says climate control or rear taillights. Any help would be appreciated.

EDIT*** As suspected, it was just a blown fuse. There's another fuse box inside the battery compartment. WHODATHOUGHT!?

I'm having the same issue and having a hard time tracking down what fuse it might be. Which did you replace?

If I had to guess after scanning a 2009 FSM I'd say check fuse #53 in the IPDM - which is behind the battery in the engine compartment. Beyond that, or if you have a different year or model, you can find the "PG.pdf" FSM for your car here:
https://www.nicoclub.com/archives/us...-database.html

The IPDM is not easy to get to but has many fuses related to our car's more major systems like external lighting.
Good luck.

To add: This is the IPDM/er that is located to the left of your battery.

Technically, you do not have to remove the battery in order to check the fuses. Once you unclip the module from the bracket, it slides right up. Most remove the battery because, to them, it is easier that way.
