Have you looked into this?
Tune2Air WMA1000 Bluetooth Music Receiver, Support Airplay, Audi-A2DP, Mercedes-A2DP and VW-A2DP - PRODUCT - ViseeO Worldwide Official Site

I've lurked the GTR forums and some people have used this to enable Bluetooth streaming with full steering wheel control.

It's on the pricier side but not having bluetooth audio streaming in our cars is a bummer and it could be good for people with 2010+ G37's that just have the USB port. However, people with the proprietary iPod cable might have issues powering up.

hmmm. very interesting, first time seeing that. I does seem like it will work in our cars. All it says that if your car can dock an ipod then this thing will work. I really want to pull the trigger on this but money is a bit tight right now so if anybody buys it please let us know if it works.

Did a bit of googling

Robot Check

Amazon.com: Tim Kovack's review of ViseeO Tune2air WMA1000

The only thing holding me back from buying it is the price.

Edit: I think anyone with a G older than 2010 might not be able to use this without having some sort of external power source but maybe anyone with a 2010+ won't have this issue because we're using standard USB ports so any iPod cable can be used.

Thanks...It does look like it will work, i have a 2013 so no problem with the connection power. Its a bit pricey but it is cheaper than buying an new ipod just to use spotify in my car which is what i did. I wanted to just use my android phone for spotify and this looks like it would have done the job.

I still wanna buy it so ill be able to use any bluetooth device.

I'm with you there. I used to drive a 2011 Corolla and bluetooth streaming came standard then I bought a 2012 G37x and it's definitely one of those features I miss.

Bluetooth streaming works ok with my 2012 G37xs, wheel control and all that. Is that because it has Nav?

If you have Nav you have Bluetooth streaming.

I've done enough research and read a lot of different Nissan Forums, everyone has had a different experience.

There was 2 amazon reviews I've posted above.

My theory is that if you're using the nissan proprietary iPod 30-pin connector you might not get enough power to turn on the tune2air.

I've also read that sometimes it takes 2-8 minutes to power up but that would depend on certain variables. It could be the cause of the Nissan ipod cable.

Basically anyone using the Nissan iPod Cable or older than 2010 G37's might have issues but I think anyone who has a 2010+ G37 with the standard USB port might be fine.

If you take the plunge and buy the Tune2Air let us know!

Also If you do, I would also recommend updating the Tune2Airs firmware.
