To op: how long did it take to get the custom sub enclosure from the seller? Their ad does not mention this. Though I assume its made to order. Thanks

It took me about 2-3 weeks to get it. It doesn't help that I'm in Philly area and the seller is in Washington so if you are closer it will be quicker

How does it sound? It's fiberglass? I have a zen enclosure now with 1 10" and I'm thinking about changing my set to a single 12

Yes, its fiberglass. It sounds amazing, hits like a champ. There's no rattling at all besides my interior LED map lights that came loose from the double sided tape because it was hitting so hard. I highly recommend this box from them.

So what did you mount your amp to? I saw your set up pic and I know that side is just metal cover my thin carpet. Did you just use some self tapping screw and mount it straight to the metal?

Yep I just used 2 self tapping screws into the right side of the amp into that metal piece and didn't use any screws on the left. Those two in the right is holding it up just fine for me. I didn't want to put too many hold into that side carpeting so I just did those 2.

The signal from the factory head unit (BOSE flavor) is essentially line level and is pretty darn clean for a factory unit. You could do better but only at the expense of the added pain of replacing the head unit. When replacing the BOSE sub or main amps, LOC's are not required

I am about to perform a similar installation in my new 2011 coupe. Based on the location that you mounted your amp; where did you terminate your ground wire? I have seen some terminate to a bolt near the bottom of the seats but I am trying to abide by the factory recommended <30" ground wire distance. Nice install BTW!!
