I want to replace my current display and add a OEM touch screen display. Will it work with the current head unit or Do I have to get a nav unit as well?
So, to do this what parts do you need? I assume the following:
- Nav head unit
- Nav faceplate
- Nav control panel
- Nav screen (since the non-Nav isn't a touchscreen, right?)
- Nav wiring harness
That about right?

old radio for connectors
wire
butt connectors
shrink wrap
soldering iron
Nav head unit
Nav faceplate
Nav control panel
Nav screen
Nav wiring harness
you'll also need GPS antenna for Nav to work
If you want to do 2010+ navi swap which includes a higher resolution hd screen you'll need the new harness that includes the new display connector.
