I found an ebay seller but they wanted $149 for the cable - so i passed on that. Crutchfield wants $129 but is out of stock. Supposedly another place is sourcing one to send me but i don't know if its the THNISS3 or THNISS3C, but when i emailed support at xpresskit.com they said that either cable will work because the Dball & Dball2 have the same connectors. So now i am curious to see if there is a difference between the cables - only problem is its hard enough to find one let alone both to compare. I should know next week if I'm getting a cable.

Just a heads up, I found this on eBay. It is a DB-ALL2 unit with the THNISS3 harness for ~$130.00USD which seems more than fair to me so I picked one up.

The THNISS3 harness should only be $50, and the DBALL2 unit is on amazon for $46.99. He says he will program the DBALL so you don't have to buy the $25 Xloader2 so it doesn't seem like a bad deal.

That is the sale on amazon though. The fact that they even have the harness makes this a good deal. And when compared to prices of the harness being 100+ I'll take this seeing how I need both anyway.

For those of you looking for just the THNISS3 harness there is a guy on ebay that sells the cables - he doesn't have it listed but i confirmed with him he has the cable we need for $50 - his ebay name is "loseyourhearing" you can search and message him if you need the cable.

XpressKit.com - Where to buy will tell you where Xpresskit products can be purchased around your location.
I figured I'd get either the dball or dball2 - depending on which harness I could find first.

I just messaged him to see if he had the cable still.

I wish someone knew 100% that the dball and dball2 use a different T harness - or either harness. xpresskit.com support said they use the same one.

Buying the harness and dball from "loseyourhearing"

They're an audio shop called Pranzatellis Audio Outlet out of NJ. The phone numbers are 1.866.489.0947 or 732.356.1143. Ask for Victor. (he gave me permission to post the store info)

Edit: looked on xpresskit's website and this place is an authorized dealer for xpresskits.

They both can use either harness. The ONLY difference between the two units is the DB-ALL2 has an extra CAN slot for certain vehicles. I will quadruple confirm this when I do my install as it comes with the DB-ALL2.

Ok that makes me feel better. I have the THNISS3 cable on its way from Victor, and i ordered the DBALL2 from amazon. I also have the XL202 range extender and a Python 2 way remote that already arrived. I'm hoping to program the DBALL2 for the oem remote 3x lock and hookup the 2way remote incase i am further away from the car. I am hopping to get this all put in next weekend if everything arrives this week.

Also if you look at xpresskits website they use the SAME exact picture for both harnesses. I will hopefully doing my standard install next weekend. Will probably add smart start or a range extender at some point since having the DB-ALL2 makes it that much easier

I will check locally with the places that advertise they are Xpresskit dealers - I've been a little tied up with work recently.

If you look at the DBALL & the DBALL2, the harness connector looks different to me... I didn't have a chance to verify this when I purchased my harness as Kartunes only had the THNISS3 harness in stock.

The only problem with doing this is if he made a mistake, you need to send it back for reflashing (or to me - I can take care of it for you, as well as any updates that come out).

I will verify this. I'm not going to go against the word of Directed and Xpresskit as it's THEIR product, but to me it looks like the harness was different. Also, if it utilized the same harness, why would there be 2 different part numbers.... Just my $0.02
