Just looked over the install PDF's for both harnesses. Our car (G37) is not even listed on the install instructions for the THNISS3C as being supported. My belief is that the THNISS3C harness is for newer cars based on what the install PDF read.

Glad to see it looks like a couple of us will be installing this around the same time. I'm waiting on the dball2 unit. Got the harness and xkloader today.

Are you going to extend the three bcm wires?

Yes I am, you have to. The BCM is on the passenger side of the car and those wires have to be run to it. The only reason that they're the length they are is because on some nissans the BCM is behind the dash. Or you could do this:

You can either insert lock/unlock wires
directly from the remote starter as shown
below or run wires into door and connect to
Violet for lock and Yellow for unlock at
window control switch.

You definitely need to extend the BCM wires or you won't be able to complete the job. I would suggest going straight to the BCM versus going to the door lock button.

If you guys need any help during install, shoot me a PM and I'll give you my number. Might be able to help you out via phone support.

The one thing I ran into was getting the wires into the BCM plug. You need to lift up the white locking collar on the plug itself to be able to insert new wires. Don't force them or else you will break a pin connector. Don't forget to lock the locking collar when all wires are set.

I should have mine here shortly hopefully; if you're free sometime, maybe we can knock this out and provide a DIY for everyone?

Just got off the phone with Victor, what a great guy. He set me up with the T-harness a DBall2 and programmed it for me, shipped priority 2 day for $105.

They're an audio shop called Pranzatellis Audio Outlet out of NJ. The phone numbers are 1.866.489.0947 or 732.356.1143. Ask for Victor. (he gave me permission to post the store info)

Edit: looked on xpresskit's website and this place is an authorized dealer for xpresskits.

Lets to it!!!! I know this would help out everyone A LOT!

I have all the wire for extending the harness (color coordinated). you'll just need to get some wire loom or the of the OE-style fabric wrap to ensure the wires are protected when everything is run behind the dash/floor carpet.

Awesome, thanks! I'll PM you soon to figure things out.

How much wireloom/fabric wrap do I need? Is that something I can buy locally or online?

wireloom is totally optional, not necessarily needed.

I picked it up the sticky fabric wire loom online from amazon - 20ft for $6.99. You could also go to a hardware or automotive store and get something like 1/4" plastic wire loom as well. I'd recommend at least 5ft of it.

Correct, however it makes the install cleaner, AND wires won't get snagged when you fish them behind the dash.

I hear that! Reasons why I haven't been able to put together a DIY myself. Good luck on your install!

Also, as a side note I've confirmed the following today from 3 sources:

THNISS3 - DBALL & DBALL2 (standard module)
THNISS3c - DBALL2PRO

This has been confirmed by Directed & Xpresskit, Safe & Sound Auto Electronics in Chantilly, VA, and Driven Auto Electronics somewhere in Northern VA. So keep in my when you are buying harness and modules, that you get the correct harness for your module.

Also, I've been calling around to a few places in the area and NO ONE has these harnesses anymore. Kartunes in Sterling, VA has a couple sets on backorder so that will take some time. Otherwise, your best bets it to find a deal online, maybe a package deal as some of you have found previously.

Lastly, I'm holding onto my XKLoader for future reflashing of my module, so if you guys need updates on your modules, or need settings changed, I'd be happy to do it free of charge - I just ask you pay for the shipping.
