Thanks
I had this same problem on Windows 8.1 Pro w/Media Center. I instead downloaded an extension for chrome called "IE Tab" went to the xpresskit website and the flash button now worked.

I did read a few places that the flashing process could have issues with IE11 (maybe 10 as well). Glad you guys got it solved. I ran my XKLoader through a VM on my Mac - worked just fine minus the driver issues I had.

Yeah I was extremely confused when I got to 6 of 6 and could not do anything so I tried the standard flash option and the Flash button was clickable so I figured it was a browser problem.

So when you go to flash the xkloader, i am assuming from the above posts, that the xkloader does not need to be attached to the dball/car right? You just flash the xkloader, unplug it, then plug it into the dball?

Also, what kind of wire did you use to extend the BCM wires? Where did you guys get the wire from?

The XKLoader is simply an interface device for connecting your DBALL to your computer. The device itself is only used during the actual flashing process from the Xpresskit.com web-based flashing utility.

For flashing your DBALL:
[*] DBALL -> XKLoader -> PC

For car installation:
[*] DBALL -> T-harness

For extending my harness, I picked up the 3-pack (25' Red, 25' Green, 25' Black) STRANDED wire spools from Radioshack.

Uhm I'm assuming it came with some sort of wiring harness - you'll need to tap the wires you need to tap.

Most of us are using Xpresskit products (DBALL or DBALL2) for remote start features. Xpresskit offers a connector tapping harness that allows you to install with only having to tap 2 wires, and install 2 wires (versus 10+ wires).

Can anyone confirm if it was the 1st option : Automatic controlled door locks, or option 5: Door lock control on data, that they disabled when flashing the dball?
