Faint vertical white line in middle of Trip Computer screen

Anyone have any problems with their trip computer LCD screen? Mine has a faint white line that varies in intensity from barely visible to noticeable which has been there since day one. I was hoping that it would eventually fade out over time but the car is 3 months old now and no dice.

One of my main gripes about the G is it's antiquated, old macintosh-like dot matrix display of its trip computer that completely clashes with the rest of the infotainment system. . Heck, the beater Dodge Ram truck for office use even has a cleaner and more modernized vehicle information display unit.

Infiniti should be ashamed for using such primitive technology that naturally transmits significant backlight bleed around the the edges and appears washed out and cheap. This along with the cheapo leather upholstery is enough to discourage anyone from the thought of buying that G at lease end.

Never heard of/seen that before. Mine looks perfect, maybe you got a lemon? It probably varies in intensity due to temperature fluctuations.

If it's a new car just take it in.

I haven't noticed poor resolution and I think the seat leather is fine. I have an S; do those come with upgraded stuff?

It's the same leather.

Not sure if it's worth tearing out the instrument panel though.

It might just need a reboot or a sw upgrade...

I haven't seen this before, but I do have moments where the backlight is so dim that you can barely see the screen; even when the brightness is max.
