Trying to connect my iphone to my sound system. Have a 2009 G37S coupe and want to play music from iphone. Tried cable available from infiniti dealer but would not work. Any suggestions? Thanks.

 

Your cable or connection is broken.

Basically that cable from the dealer should work. The only thing is the iphone 4 will not change without an adaptor (made for an ipod). You need to get that seperatly. Iphone 5 will probably have a different adaptor.

One cool thing I did was this:

1. Use the cable.
2. Add an extender.
3. Run the extender under the center console and to the right side
4. Anded a phone holder that stuck to the right side of the center console.

It was good because I can easily touch the Sire button and voice activate my commands.

 

Good info. I have an iphone 4 now but may upgrade to a 5 soon. Not sure how to make the adaptor from an ipod. somewhat challenged with this stuff.
