New system install on 2010 G37 Sedan with Base Audio

System Components:

Speakers:
Front Doors-
  • Alpine SPS-610C (6.5" Component w/ 1" Tweeter) $79.00
  • Infinity Reference 3032CF-Z (will try to mount where 3" speaker is) $19.99
Rear Doors-
  • Alpine SPS-610 (6.5" Coaxial) $58.99
Subwoofer-
  • Infiniti Basslink
Signal Processor/Amplifier:
  • Pioneer GM-D9500F (75W RMS x 4) $155.99
  • Audiocontrol LCQ-1 $203.99
  • Misc wiring ~$65
Total System Costs (already had Basslink) = $582.96
Damplifier Bulk Pack (B-Type) = $119.99

I started last weekend and gutted the trunk and rear seat area trim and covered with Second Skin Damplifier to combat resonance. Today I accomplished the rear door speaker install and Damplifier install (still not sure about speaker wire color - see other post).

On the rear doors in my 2010 G37 Sedan (Base audio w/ rear camera) the wires to both speakers were Blue & Pink. I selected guessed at blue as "positive" and pink as "negative"...can anyone confirm?

Damplifier installed on inner/outer door skin and around speaker:

Will try to resume tomorrow on one of the front doors, I only have enough Damplifier to finish one more door. Will post pics tomorrow during installation. I am hoping to be able to mount the 3.5" speakers where that little 3" speaker is so that may require some thinking.

They seem like some type of paper yes, they are absolute junk! BTW the sound deadening in the door is a big help...lot less resonance.

**THESE ARE FROM THE RADIO**
pretty sure the wires should stay the same color from the radio to the speaker.
Please verify before making final connections

passenger side rear
pink - negative
blue or light blue - positive

drivers side rear
Light green - positive
SB -negative...cant remember what color SB was

Unfortunately the colors do not remain the same, the harness branches into a separate harness for each door.

Here are the speaker wire colors for each door, LH & RH are same colors:

Both Front Doors:
Gray = Positive
Yellow = Negative

Both Rear Doors:
Blue = Positive
Pink = Negative

This is for a 2010 G37 Sedan with Non-Bose and Rearview Camera. The manual is vague about the wire color at the door but I made an educated guess using pages: AV-127 & AV-143. It seems to be ok, the system sounds great and I don't here any distortion or anything.
