The problem as many have stated with Android phones is the Infiniti media system doesn't give the phone enough time to mount.

I have a Zen Vision M loaded with music (some are internet downloads that can't put on the vehicle music box) but while I can plug it into the USB port it doesn't get recognized. Anyone have any ideas how that can be made to work? This is on a 2010 with Nav.

I have a 2011 G37x and I have my Droid X hooked up wirelessly to play all my music - it connects through the Bluetooth. You must use the "My Car" App. I can't seem to charge my Droid - I tried to connect with usb cable to console, but it does not respond. I am going to have to use an old fashioned 12 volt car charger to charge the Droid.

I just noticed a thread over on NICO where someone complained that when he's listening to a podcast and gets a phone call, the podcast doesn't get paused when he takes the call. Same functionality as a flash drive. I thought the Apple stuff was supposed to somehow be better integrated.

I've noticed the same thing when listening to Podcasts. I take a phone call via Bluetooth and the Podcast doesn't pause. However, music will pause?

Has anyone tried to incorporate an Aux Input by coupling to the antenna? It seems it would be possible to place a switch in line with the antenna and run an aux input off the connection.

Yes, there are at least two switches on the market produced for exactly that purpose. Google will turn them up for you.

Mine has Navi, but I use a usb flash drive. That way I don't have to worry about my phone running out of juice or pairing or any of that stuff. Plus, you can skip\replay songs using the steering wheel controls. My phone is hooked up too in case I wanna play through Bluetooth.

For people without Navi, I would recommend one of those Bluetooth FM transmitters if you really wanna play stuff using your phone.

Soundfly BT Ultimate Bluetooth Car Fm Transmitter WMA/MP3 Player

Satechi Bluetooth Hands-free Car Stereo Fm Transmitter for iPhone 4s, 4, 3Gs, 3, iPod Touch 4G, BlackBerry, HTC EVO, DROID, Samsung Galaxy S and Bluetooth Stereo A2DP supported Devices

Yeah, I have pretty much my entire music collection on a 16Gb nano-sized flash drive. Sticks out of the console USB port about 1/4", so it's like nothing even being there. I have it on all random repeat.

/no nav on my 2011 G37X
