When mine reaches a certain point, it says: "Women to remove shirts due to extreme heat". Now I just need to get it to say that all of the time!

 

I freaked out today in my 2012 G37 when the temperature gauge shot up to 101 while driving in local streets and the outside temperature was only 83 degrees.

I keep looking at my coolant temperature gauge thinking something was wrong. Once I got onto the freeway and traffic was moving, the temperature dropped back to the outside weather temperature.

 

My 2010 G Sedan also shows a consistently high reading. It is accurate if the temperature is below 80. However, when the ambient temperature is above that, it reads high. When the temperature is 90, it will read 97. When the temperature is 100, it will read 110.

It has always been like that. I took it to the dealer once. I was told it was a feature......
