Annoying grid lines in Navigation map

Annoying grid lines in Navigation map
I love the Navigation system in the G37. However, the blue grid lines are very distracting and confusing. The only way I can get rid of them is by zooming all the way in. I really see no reason for them to be there. I couldn't find any setting to turn them off. Is there any way to turn them off completely?
