Bluetooth issue....solved

Just wanted to pass along an issue along with how I solved it in the hopes it might help someone in the future. Last Friday driving home from work in my 2010 G37xS it would alternate between "connecting to phone" and "disconnecting from phone" in roughly 30 sec to 1 minute intervals. Didn't think too much about it since I left my phone in my bag which was in the trunk (maybe bad reception). On my next drive it did it again but I had my phone next to me. I could see that whenever my phone made a bluetooth connection it would reboot. At thins point I didn't know what was causing this problem so when I reached home I tried my phone with my Garmin nuvi GPS unit which also has bluetooth. It synced up fine. So it seemed it was the car. So I decided to deleted the pairing between my phone and car (deleted the profile on both the car and phone) and start fresh to sync them. It worked and the phone hasn't rebooted in my car anymore. Don;t know exactly what was going on but it seemed that a fresh pairing was all that was needed to resolve the situation. BTW-my phone is on the Infiniti list of approved phones. Just thought I would share if anyone has the same issue in the future.

It was a LG Rumor2. It had been working perfectly since I had originally paired it (about 4.5 months ago)

Thanks for the tip...don't need it now...but who knows in the future!

Very thoughtful of you to provide this tip...this site would be even more useful if we all did same.
