When I use GPS and have music on (whether it be raido, USB, or music box), the volumn of the music is automatically lowered when the GPS voice guidance comes on. However, if a phone call comes in, not only does the screen switch from map to the phone status, but the GPS voice guidance is "disabled". I know I can press MAP button to get the map screen back, but then you would have to keep your eyes on the screen which is not safe nor convenient.

There have been numerous occasions where I missed turns or freeway exits becasue of this. Is there any setting to change this? Thanks in advance.

 

No, that can't be changed that I'm aware of.

 

My voice guidance still goes just like normal when I am on the phone...
