I have a feeling for the pins one on each side and I tugged extremely hard but it did not budge.
You only need to remove the seat cushion, not the back cushion. I sat down, hovered, and pulled straight up. Once one side is off, the other is a lot easier.

Did you ground underneath the seat somewhere? I'm going to do an amp install someday..

I drilled a hole and ground in the trunk.

I got it thanks a bunch.
And for the ground, I've heard there is one bolt nearby when the carpet is exposed to reach the amp.

It would be the same thing. There's still a new hole made with a self-tapping screw and the ground will still be held down by a screw.
