I wanted to hard wire my Valentine 1 into my fuse box.
I previously ran a blend mount and the invisicord with my valentine.
I didn't want to spend $100 on a mount and a cord again.

Valentine includes a hard wiring kit, so I used it.

The fuses that are used in the interior fuse box are low profile fuse and aren't as easy to add a circuit like older (larger) fuses.

I found this on amazon

It made the install very smooth and very easy.

You essentially remove the existing fuse.
Then you insert the removed fuse into the fuse tap.
Insert the new fuse and you are ready to go.

I used the cigarette lighter fuse. I very rarely use the cigarette/accessory port so this won't cause any issues.

I used these to add my dash cam as well. Very good.

Just make sure to use the same size fuses, AKA don't upsize a 10amp to 20amps. Your asking for trouble otherwise.

^^Those won't work. They're mini, but not mini low profile.

Yes they will, I have one hooked up to my dash cam out of my old car. Just your regular ATM fuses.

The ebay link is for ATM mini fuses. The g37 takes ATM mini low profile fuses. How are they the same?

The only difference between them is the height, so why would they not work? It's been working fine in my car since about 2 hours after I brought it home.

i think you are confused

they will work i have them and have always used them

get on ebay and amazon again ther are tons and are about $3-$5 each

I see that there's one fuse tap however shouldn't there be 2? One has to draw power from a batt fuse. I was wondering which batt fuse was used.

You only use one fuse.

The purpose is to add a fused line.

You don't want to exceed the current draw the factory wire is sized for.
