CD and MP3 volume

Is it me or does the volume suck when listening to cds and mp3's?

I turn it all the way up, and it's still not loud. Is there a setting on the radio that i need to change?

Only time I have issues with are when the windows are down and I have talk radio on, aside from that its still loud enough.
Could the nav be talking? That lowers the sound.
Do the cd's sound quiet when played on the comp compared to other mp3s? Id be willing to bet its the loudness of the mp3 file rather than the car.

Do you have the premium package? It has upgraded an audio system.

I notice that CD's no matter what are very low in sound. I do have the premium package, so I'm not sure what the problem is. Maybe I'll just buy an amp.

Premium Package and still not loud enough? You seriously need to get your ears checked man. I put the volume up on max when installing the intakes on my friends ride and campus security was all over my azz lol

I have issues on my iPod where one song is at maximum volume and is only at reasonable level and then next one burst my eardrums at 3/4 volume. Also, XM stations are all much lower in volume than FM stations. I seldom play CD,s but I'll try it out and report back.

its based more on what volume leveling you use and bit rate when you rip your songs.
xm volume is way low.....they must only be delivering 96kbps.
i only use xm for talk radio
