In my 29 G37 sedan I have the bluetooth but when someone calls me it says private(when its ringing) and when I answer it shows the persons info. Is this normal on all the cars or is mine just stupid???

 

It shows the number for me. It sounds like it's an issue with your phone. The car just displays whatever info the phone sends it.

Yeah it shows the number on nav display. As I said, it sounds more like a phone issue. The car just displays whatever info the phone sends it. It sounds like the phone doesn't send caller ID until the call is picked up.

Go to the dealer and ask to test the bluetooth on another car, or if you know someone else with an Infiniti. If the same thing happens then it's a phone issue.

 

I have to agree with John. You could also pair someone else's phone to your car and see what happens.
