how to do ecu reset with batt disconnect

hey guys,
i have tryed doing the "pedal" ecu reset but it just wont work , i need some help doing the ecu reset by disconnecting the battery. how do i do it? is it easy? will i get shocked

hmm....disconnect the battery and leave it disconnected overnight. You could disconnect it and then hold down the brake pedal and wait 15 to 30 minutes to do the same thing. Beyond simple and talked about before.

Either side, 15 minutes is sufficient but easier to leave it overnight. Just fyi incase it's not obvious all your settings will be erased (radio presets, time etc.)

so all i have to worry about is my presets being deleted and the windows right? anything else?

You should just keep trying the pedal method that way the radio presets wont erase. It took me 20-30 tries before i got it to work. It helped if i used a watch for the timing.
