JL W7 10" in a g37?
In my opinon, the W3 sounds much better than the W6. It is kinda SQ (W3) Vs. SPL (W6).
There is NO such thing as a W5. But I do have a 12 inch w7 with a custom built box made for the G37. ANYONE can get this. Just go to your local car audio store and tell them the specs of your sub, and ask for a custom fiberglass box. ONLY GO FOR THE BEST FOR YOUR G. Get fiberglass, it's gonna be alot lighter which will save you money in the long run cause gas. I have half my trunk. And it also depends on if you want tight sound, or heavy bass. Check out Caraudio.com and do some research. If you need help LMK ! I can try to help. GOOD LUCK
I don't think 2 W7's are that much. But sure in a few months, your car will be a rattle box. I have 2 TDX's in my G37, which are very comparable to W7's. Ofcourse they are not in a ported box, and the gain **** on the amp is not even 1/2 way, but I have turned it up. Your rear window will flex (mine did on my G35 for 3 years I owned it, when my system was turned up, in actual boxes for the subs), but that should be no problem. If you want it, go for it. But like some one said above, make sure you listen to it before you buy it.
W5's
I had two 15 W5's in my car back in the day when they did exist... 1994 or so... you'd have to be an old car audio guy like me to remember them, though...
for what it is worth, I have played with both the Image Dynamic ID10V3 and the IDQ10 V3 and they are very impressive for their price points...
