Rca Ipod Video???
I bought a DYNEX AV Cable to hook up the audio video to the car and the sound comes out the speakers but the video only shows on my ipod and not my navi screen....anybody found a way to get through this?

make sure the is in park or neutral, e-brake up "6mt" Video settings on ipod to video out. Then press the "Disc Aux" button untill you see video. If that doen't work make sure your video wire isn't in the audio input by accident. If thats not it buy the apple a/v wire and call it a day cuzz that wire is no good.
Edit: If its an iPod touch u need a different wire if i'm not mistaken.

I think so, it might be in the manual. I know for sure that the car has to be in park, but i'm not sure if the parking brake has to on. Most car makes are different with there video security settings.

If it's any of the newer Apple iPods and iPhone (i.e., anything after iPod gen 5.5), then you need the Apple Composite AV cable with the dock connector. The headphone jack no longer has video output.

No it isnt an Ipod classic and yes u need the "E" brake on then hit AUX and the video shows on the navi screen but only in black and white..heres some pics of some music videos i had playing in the car
