2) Does it work with a Rear Active Steer G37? I know the Bose amp is just under your mounting point, but another controller box is forward of that, not sure if that is part of the RAS controller, any idea?

If you want to donate to the "new camera fund" just add $20 to your enclosure invoice Yes, my camera is broken, I know... but I am also not a good photographer, sorry. Blue does have a very "calming" effect, though.

 

It can only be that. I looked in my trunk today to test fit an amp and I don't have the one closer to the seat back. I have every option except 4WAS so it must be for for that. It appears that an amp about 11.5" x 9.5" will fit in place of the Bose amp with no problems for those replacing it. There's also about 6.5" of vertical clearance so you could easily stack 2 on top of each other unless they are very tall. This is an approximate measurement without any modifications being made.

 

Can you verify if it will work in our 4WAS G's, if you don't know, it's ok to say so, but ignoring potential buyers won't please your stock holders

why wouldn't it work with a 4was car? the floor isn't any different

 

How has 4080 ignored buyers? Have you PM or called him? If not, take some initiative before you start to discredit someone who's reputation is established.

I am sure he is pretty busy producing the enclosures, which myself and few others have already pre-ordered.

Trust me, client service is what 4080 is about. Seriously, he did not have to make the box for the G37. Especially since there really wasn't a demand for the box.

 

That's what I don't know, is the trunk deck the same level on both models? That other controller box is mounted much higher than the Bose amp. If it was even 1/4 higher to allow for clearance, the 4080 box would not work.

I'll go measure mine now, if someone else will do the same and compare data that would be great.

 

Good point, I did not PM or call 4080, my bad. I guess I felt ignored because I asked the question and they posted after that and didn't acknowledge my question. I agree I should not have expected a busy company to read all posts on every board. I was not trying to discredit, I really do think they do great work, and I would like to get this very nice add to my car. 4080 please except my withdraw and apology of my negative comment, it was uncalled for.

With the carpet pulled back I have 11" of clearance for the 4080 box.

 

I just called 4080, he mentioned that there should not be any fitment issues with those clients equipped with 4WAS.
