Hey just out of curiosity, for the cheap minded person, would the current bose sub amp power the 1 10" polk sub in this enclosure good? I don't mean would it be perfect, but would you get some good bump from the sub and the bose sub amp?

 

Nope, you won't get any thump without an amp, if it does anything at all it will play like a normal speaker.

 

It won't work. I don't know the power rating for the Bose sub amp, but it isn't great enough for the Polk sub. Plus the Polk would probably fry the sub amp, seeing as Bose usually uses weird ohm levels of speakers.

 

Rumors say the bose sub amp is good for at least 100W. Don't worry about blowing the amp, if it gets stressed, it'll fold back. Don't know the impedance of the sub but they are usually 4 ohms.

You won't be doing the sub justice without some power, though.

 

Relax. They're probably covered up.

I bought boxes for my G35 and G37 from 4080. Quality stuff. I got in on the original group buy and was, yet again, amazed at how fast I got them. Especially with a new product.
