Bluetooth ... on my nerves!

Hey everyone!!! I was wondering if anybody knows if there is a way to make the bluetooth NOT pick up when you answer your phone on the headset. In my TL I could either press the activation button on the steering wheel if I wanted the call to come through the speakers, or answer it on the headset if I wanted to keep it private (if there are other people in the car). I do know you can transer the call after answering, but that is annoying to do everytime you want to be in private mode. Thanks for the help guys!!

I think the only way is to hit answer the phone, then transfer over to headset

In my car shows up in the screen but you could turn off that option in your phone and then it would be up to you if it connects to bluetooth or not.

I have a Palm Treo and my question is everytime I have an incoming call from my car the display shows up the last call I made from the handset, Example: I called Mark from my cell and then Susan calls while im in the car the display will show Mark the last person I called. Hope this makes sense to ANYONE! lol

Your best best is to go in your phones bluetooth settings/ choose the device(mycar) and modify the options for that device. my BB has an "ask permission" option( i leave that on just incase i have a chic in the car and a nother chic calls ....well anyway), this tells the phone wether or not to link with the device(car) whenever its in range. With that option on, it ask everytime (yes/no) with a check box in the corner "never ask again". im pretty sure all phones with bluetooth has this in the options. you might have to break the phone manual out.

hope that helps
