Thanks for the reply. I having my radio/HDD replaced this week and was hoping to get the current version!

 

Make sure you mention it to them, its a software thing, not hardware.. Although I'm guessing the HD will come loaded, I see no reason why Infiniti would send em out formatted.

 

i took delivery on December 22nd with the 07-08 version for the Nav. I didn't realize that people had gotten the 06-07, i was hoping for an update soon for 08-09.

 

I really hope they hurry up on the update. My NAV is not really accurate anymore with all the changes they have made in the city.

I keep checking on updates but I cant get anything difinitive....

when are you guys having these issues of the nav not being correct? my nav has never taken me to a wrong place nor have the roads ever been wrong....

 

In newly developed areas...

 

I get lots of roads and businesses that are not listed on my version, in Austin. Even roads that are two years old. The Nav system needs some serious updating.

 

I went to dealer last month. They said " No Nav update at this time". Mine is 06-07 version.

 

There is deffinately an 07-08 version as most of us (purchased after ~Nov) have the 'updated' version. Dealer might not be able to update it so that's probably the reason why they say 'No update at this time'. It might not be that easy to update as we all think.
