Any take on the audio system in the G37? Do you think it will improve over the previous one?

from what i've read the system in the g37 is the same as the one in the 07 sedan.. minus speaker placement. Supposedly the new system is much improved over previous gen g35coupe and sedans. In addition, the system is well integrated within the lcd display. sat. radio is also built into every new car.

I don't think ne one has heard the system. Don't know if the actual specific production specs have been published

Listen to the presentation video, you decide .

Since the G37 will have the same system as the 07 Sedan, just go listen to an 07 Sedan equipped with the Studio On Wheels and decide for yourself. I personally LOVE the SOW in my 07 Sedan. The clarity at all volumes is amazing.

i think i remember hearing/reading somewhere that the coupe's SOW will be a slightly improved version of the SOW in the current sedan. of course, maybe that came from my rectal data storage system.

could have been me.. i posted a while back that reports are that all 08 models (Sedan/coupe) will get minor upgrade to include ability to move sound stage for passenger/driver.. for instance, left stage may sound like it's sitting 4" to the left of drivers side rear mirror.

It's just a satellite radio antenna, not Navigation.

Sweet! hope that's true... ill ask dealer to see if i can NOT have that on there... takes away from the seductive roof line i think.

Also, isn't the SOW in the 07 sedan a 10 speaker system? The spec sheet for coupe says it will be 11 speaker system.
Wonder where the extra speaker will go (does sedan have front center channel speaker?)
