Bug Removal

I bought my G sedan used and the previous owner obviously didnt mind bugs in her car because the front bumper is littered with them and they can just be washed off. I have tried turtle wax bug and tar remover and it worked decently but not great. Any suggestions? Clay bar maybe?

Get some old towels and a bucket of HOT water, throw the towels in the bucket and lay them on the car wet don't wring them. Leave them soak for a few minutes then wash the car again, that should take most of them off. Use a clay bar for the rest. Good luck!

Instead of water, I have used WD40. Soak a rag in it & do as above

You can also pretreat with stoners bug and tar remover (yellow can). Or...if this is a frequent thing...go to Walmart and get a gallon of windshield washer fluid in the summer bug blend. Wet the car, then spray that stuff at full strength. Then wash is with your mitt and rinse. Don't let it dry.

Then clay it.
