going square with another pair of rear 8.5 stockers

the cutouts inside the wheel hub are bell shaped on the front and triangular on the rear and will not fit because of this thing, and I cannot figure out what it's for

can I unbolt it unscrew it cut it off and run without it?

 

Yes, you can remove it, it's put there so you won't put the front wheels in the back.

Run two nuts down on it. Use your wrench on the bottom nut. The top nut will prevent the bottom nut from turning on the threads.

 

Or replace rotors with stoptech they dont have the nut like OEM rotor
