how to find 18 inch wheels that will fit the G37S brakes?

I'm looking to move from the 19inch wheels that came with my G37S coupe, to the 18 inche wheels, because the cost of replacement tires is significantely less. How can i know if the G37S brakes will FIT with the smaller wheels? I've been paying attention to the tires that the Z370 owners have been using at events (smiles per dollar , so considering moving to 18 inch). Now, I'm trying to find out how to know if a set of 18 inch wheels will fit. Are there known models that fit? is there something that can be done to determine if they fit? I'd prefer to pick up a used set, if I can do it significantly cheaper than just going to tirerack.

Best thing to do is send the vendor/seller these templates to confirm clearance if they don't already know. https://www.myg37.com/forums/brakes-...templates.html

Your best bet would be to send templates, as noted by blnewt. Per my own experience, having done the same thing you intend to do, I know the following fit:

Work 11R - 18x9.5+38 (what I currently have on my car)
Enkei NT03+M - 18x9.5 +27 will fit with a 2.5mm spacer
Gramlights 57 Transcend - 18x10 +30 (sent a template to confirm with seller)
WedsSport SA15R - 18x9.5 +38 (sent a template to confirm with seller)

Also, this thread is pretty useful: https://www.myg37.com/forums/18/2765...ic-thread.html

It all depends on offset and spoke design/concavity, some fit better than others despite being a pretty low offset. Let us know what you find?

Wedssport SA10R 9.5 +38 will clear as will ALL the 9.5 +38 Weds, not sure on the +45s. SSR GTV line at 18x9.5 +45 and less will clear (but will be very close to steering knuckle at +45 offset) Enkei RPF1 will also clear. AFAIK all 350z 18" wheels will clear too.

Anyone know if these rims forsale in the classifieds will fit the sport brakes on a 2011 G37S? If so, then i think I've found myself some rims (and winter tires till spring) https://www.myg37.com/forums/private...0a-tires.html?

Yes, those will definitely clear the Big Akebono Calipers & larger rotors.

Thanks for the reply. Do you know if https://www.myg37.com/forums/private...k-18inch.html? would also clear the calipers?

Send the seller that link for the templates, if he wants a sale he should be able to verify it for you. Unless he's already confirmed clearance (or has Akebonos) that would be the only way.

Other than the duck feet, what other stock 18" wheels will clear the BBK?

I havent posted here in awhile, but I am getting tired of the look of the 18" setup I use for a winter setup on my 09 G37S coupe. Thinking of going back to a more stock look and I want to get a set of 18" that is squared so I can rotate the tires as the rear tires wear a lot faster than the front tires in the winter time due to the soft compounds and RWD.

Might look at 350z 18" touring v1 or v2 wheels, here's a couple links
