Square set up on a RWD. Which is the correct way to rotate tires?
Hey guys,
I'm running a square setup on my RWD, 245/35/20 all the way around. It's been about 6-7k miles since I installed them new on the car and a few shop suggested that I should rotate them.
I found some instructions online, see below. Which way is the correct way?
Thanks in advance!

I've always done the criss-cross pattern shown in the first picture.
Driver side rear switches with passenger side front....
Passenger side rear switches with driver side front....
I don't see anything wrong with doing it like the "All Vehicles FRONT" below the first picture suggest as well. Just as long as your rears are switched with your fronts you should be good to go.
Reason, your rears where more in the middle of the tire and not on the outer edges. Your fronts, because they steer you and turn, can get worn on the outer edges while the center of the tire still has good tread depth on it. Switching them up front to back helps even that wear process out a little more and prolongs the life of the tire and tread....
