Tpms on 2012 g37x sedan

I'm ordering a set of wheels and tires from carid.com. They come as a package and include tire pressure monitoring sensors. I'm just wondering if they will automatically work once I put the wheels on the car or if the car has to be reprogrammed to recognize the new sensors? Any help is appreciated. Thanks...

Believe the new sensors will need to be "synced" to your car, the dealer or larger tire shops should have the device to do this, from my research, no more than 1/2 hour labor should be charged (walk away from any shop that charges more, it's a very simple process).

That said, also think there's a DIY procedure floating around here

From: Framingham Ma,
No sir, You'll have to have them programmed. Any tire shop with the scan tool can do it I paid 25$ for mine to get programmed.

Thanks. One more question. These are going to be a summer set of wheels since I live in NY. When I put the factory wheels back on for the winter will the factory tpms need to be re synced or will the car remember them?
Thanks again...

^you'll need to reprogram the sensors each time, the car isn't able to recognize more than one set of TPMSs are a time.
