Question about cost to update TSB at dealer?

I bought my 2012 g37x from a third party and I suspect there are some TSBs that have not been applied to the car. In fact it's probably never been checked for firmware updates.

From what I understand the dealership is the only place to receive these updates.

What would you estimate the cost to be strictly for TSB updates at a dealer?

The car is not under warranty so I'll be paying out of pocket.

Just curious what I might be looking at cost-wise.

Thanks for all your help!

Are you sure you have no warranty left, seems like you should have some time remaining unless it's a salvage or high miles.
BTW, welcome to the site

Make sure it's a tsb you actually need. If it's not broke, don't fix it... Especially if the TSB is 7AT related.

Local Chicago Infiniti dealer quoted me $140 for checking all TSBs and uploading firmware and updates.

This sound reasonable?

It's not salvage (just checked the title). It's a rebuild. Not sure about the warranty. I'll call Infinity corporate and ask.

Rebuild means it was a salvage and has been fixed/inspected to be roadworthy again. You won't have any warranty. Were you aware of this when buying the car and was it disclosed to you?

oh 100%

That's why I bought it.

Just trying to get some firmware upgrades and wanted to see what cost is reasonable.

You should be OK as far as transmission TSBs, I believe the 2012s are all up to date from the factory.
G/L w/ your new G, hope it works out well for you
