Excessive rear tire wear

You should get an alignment check. Camber and/or toe might be off.

27k miles on Summer Potenzas is actually very good life from those tires. Most need to replace them much sooner. The soft, high grip rubber wears much faster and that will show up w/ camber wear (inside part of the tread). Try a higher treadwear rating, the Michelin Pilot Super Sport has incredible dry grip but ALSO has a high treadwear rating (for a summer tire), I'd look at those for your new set.
