Nitrogen, where can I buy?
The only time I'd recommend Nitrogen would be for airing up your spare tire since it's a pain to remove & check (since the stem is downward in the trunk) and it's often forgotten for months, even years sometimes
Thanks for your thoughts but it's already a done deal. I just need to find it.
I'm so not the kind of person that does or likes to check and or put air in a tire.
Heck, if they still had full service gas stations I'd be using them.
(Check fluids etc.)

Not like Nitrogen is a bad thing, it has it's purpose, just not really worth the added cost & hype.
I'm sure most of the big chain shops carry it.
Mother Nature gives it to you. Air is 78% nitrogen. Residual air even in a deflated tire will dilute the pure nitrogen the tech inflates with. It's really just a clever way to help misinformed drivers part with their money.
I have a friend that never checks his oil or tire pressure. His car is suffering and I cringe at his laziness. Enjoy your nitrogen.

I cringe every time I see someone add something to their car that's not really very useful in day to day driving in traffic OR that sucks more gas
To each his own.
Thank you

I've noticed that the coin-operated compressors often seen at gas stations/convenience stores dispense a lot of moisture along with air. This could potentially corrode the alloy wheel. If this happens along the bead, you'll have a slow leak. I've had this happen, buy I can't prove that the moisture came from a coin-operated compressor.
If you use nitrogen to inflate your tires, at least you know it's dry. Costco inflates with nitrogen, and they'll top-up your tires for free.
