Rubbing issues, not sure how to resolve it
Good morning everyone,
On Sunday, I put some new (used) wheels on my car and was as giddy as a school girl (pics will come in a few days once I get my car back, she's currently at Infiniti). I was driving her around, and all seemed well.
Then, on Monday, as I am pulling into work, I take a right turn and hit a small dip in the road -- I hear a quick, short scraping sound. Once at work, I take a look and the outer edge of my front tires has a "clean" area, where the dirt looks like it was rubbed off (hence my assumption that I am rubbing).
Now the reason I am making this post is I don't know what the "proper" troubleshooting methodology is for rubbing tires. So far, all I have done is increase my front damping (Stance Super Sports) to 10/15 clicks (from 8/15). I am lowered, with the front fender 26" off the ground.
Wheel and Tire Specs:
Volk GT7
F: 19x9 +23, 245/40/19 (other options 245/35/19, 225/45/19)
R: 19x9.5 +24, 245/40/19
Front Camber: -1.4 degrees
Rear Camber: -1.8 degrees
I'm sure pictures would help with troubleshooting my problems, but at the moment, my car is at Infiniti getting a new transmission (woo hoo!!!!!). I will post some once I get the car back.
So what steps should I take to get the wheels to no longer rub? Should I consider more camber? Rolling my front fenders (I hope this is not step #1)? Further increase my front damping? Shave the fender liner? Remove the clips in the fender? Any help from the community would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

Trim back your fender liner 3 inches. and shave the bumper bracket back as you think is necessary. My bumper bracket is completely removed but not everyone has completely removed it. Once that is resolved you will be able to put your coils back to a comfortable setting.
I think it depends on what part is rubbing. If it is the liner or bracket then do what TheGanglyGoon suggested. If it is the top of the fender that is rubbing when you turn you can either raise the car, add more negative camber, mount a stretched tire, pull the fender, or all of those combined.
