A local guy on craigslist has two nice rear 19" sport rims for real cheap, I was going to be getting 275 or 285 for my rears, so I will have the extra tires anywa, was wondering if I could use rear rims with the stock size 245 rear tire on the front? Anyone ever done this? Clearance issues?
But the front and rear rims have different backspacing don't they? I wanted to try and use rear rims on all four corners with 275 or 285 on the rear and 245 on the front.
There's a little bolt on the front rotor hub that you'll need to remove. It's there to specifically prevent rear wheels from being mounted on the front rotors. Take it off, no problem. Mount your rear wheels on the front of your car to test fit so see how you like it.
