18" 7.5" rims on staggered rims

hello,
i bought the 18" rims from my friend and they are 7.5" wide. is it possible to run a staggered setup with 225/50-18(front) & 245/45-18(rear) with the 7.5" rim without any problems or looking funny? its an unmodded 09 g37x. i found a good deal for those tires and don't want to pass them up. originally i had 225/55-17 on the g37x but I'm trying to upgrade them to 18s. i did the tire calculator readings and it showed that i was fine. any input is greatly appreciated.

thanks

It's OK but not ideal, the 7.5" rim isn't a great mount for a 245, a bit of a pinched mount resulting in sidewall roll under heavy cornering. The diameter variance is OK now, the rears are a bit shorter and will wear faster over time so the variance will increase, so that could cause issues w/ the AWD system if it gets over 1%.

dang I found that set almost new for $200. I figured I would Check to see if it worked out. I read that would be the typical set up 225/45&245/45 on 18s but didn't know if it worked on nonstaggered wheels. I read 245 are fine at 7.5" max. Would 245/45 or 235/45 all around be ideal?

Thanks again for the reply

They'll work and if it's an awesome deal then I'd say do it, but when the time comes for new tires I'd go w/ a square 235/45 or 235/50 depending on what brand is available in those sizes.
