Lugnuts keep coming loose

I have a 2009 x coupe with stock 18 rims on it. I just put them back on the car after changing the winter rims and the lug nuts will not stay tight. Do I need to drive the car a bit to have the rims seat properly on the hub and then retorque?
I am worried that I mat loose a wheel or damage something. I can torque them to 80 lbs and then recheck them a day later and some will be loose?
Any ideas? The lugs are stock also.

If you are truly torqing them to 80ft-lbs, using the right lug nuts, and making sure both mating surfaces are clean of dirt/debris, then they should not be coming loose, unless they are stripped, or not seated all the way somehow.

Make sure the wheel is flat against the hub before you lower it to the ground and tighten the lugs all the way. I tighter the lug nuts as much as I can before lowering, and then tighten or torque if I have a torque wrench available.

You aren't using spacers right?
