Hello, I know it's 10 years later but I am dealing with same issue now and I even bought the TPMS tool for myself.. Feel free to reply if you managed to figure it out.

Same here,I have had problems since I switched to aftermarket wheels. Program twice and got new sensors twice and programed again plus a new tpms module. Tpms sensor still is lit so I finally gave up. Waste of money on sensors.

did you get oem modules or non-oem? I just figured that my car is made 7.2010 so according to vin I should be using 40700-1LA0B. So I ordered one, I also figured that the shop used the scanning config for cara produced up to 4.2010 that’s why they got no reply from my sensor. Now if I select g37 2010 produced after 4.2010 in the tool I get no reply and only get a reply if I select frequency for cars produced before 4.2010. So looks like sensors for cars made before 4.2010 do not work for cars made after that time although frequency is the same.

i think at this point id rather bit the bullet and paid $400 to local Nissan dealership and call it a day rather than dealing with this mess. I will ask for a refund from the shop and if they don’t provide it I sill request a chargeback from the bank.
