G37xS Steering problem

Hi guys, I recently took a trip to NYC and since then my steering is very very light as if it feels disconnected. When driving at slow speeds, I can leave my steering a quarter to the left and right and it wouldn't snap back to center so the car'd just drive in that direction. Also when making turns around 20-30 mph after turning, steering doens't snap back all the way. I'd have to turn the steering back myself. Anybody else experience this?

I've taken the car to Jim Coleman Infiniti in Bethesda and they tightened the steering and reset everything. Still happening. Now they're telling me that I'm crazy and that this isn't abnormal.

Any inputs would be greatly appreciated. Its annoying the hell outta me!

1. it could be all in your head.
2. Take it to another dealer and get a second opinion?

Did you notice any change since after the dealer tighten and reset everything? Was it better or the same? I recommend getting a 2nd opinion.

It was pretty much the same as before. I'm calling consumer affairs to authorize the repair at another dealership. I'll have them check the camber, toe, caster. It could be as simple as my tie-rods are shot out. We'll see. I'll keep you guys posted.

So the steering rack got reset again and now its tighter. But still not as direct response as it was before. I wonder what else I can do outside of the dealership?

Granted it could all be in my head and i'm carzy. But! This morning I drove to work, and on the way I pulled on the steering wheel down, and it gave a little, felt like it snapped into something. The steering instantly got tighter and responded like it used to. Weird!
