Thinner sidewall means rougher ride and higher chance of bending a wheel. Plus side is they fill the wheelwell better.

So basically, when I'm ready to buy the new wheels, what exactly do I ask for? "I want to buy 4 19" or 20" wheels to fit my G37x AWD coupe". He'll know what'll fit or should I specific any other information or size?

I advise you to know how the offset system works before you buy any wheels, some shops are idiots......

I'd consult with the vendors on this forum; they are all very knowledgeable about what will and wont fit your car. Some even have G37's with aftermarket wheels. They are also very competitive on pricing. A local shop may not be as knowledgeable and might just try to sell you something that's not right for your car.

20s look better, but 19s perform better.... it really doesn't matter if you're putting them heavy Vossen anyway tho'.

Hey bro...so looks like my only choice if I go with the Vossen 084 is the 20" size, but since I'm not able to get a staggered setup, it's gotta be the same size all around. So you're sure there's no negative impact on ride quality with 20's, right?

Currently on the G37X (AWD) model, the stock is: Split 5-spoke, 18 x 8.0 inch wheels with 225/50 V-rated tires...I got this from the Specs page in the G37 book I got from the dealership when I bought the car.
