When my FORMER dealer did the first oil change, they did not put back or close any of the fluid caps, including the oil. When I got home a few hours later and happened to look under the hood, the oil cap was off and there was oil all over the engine and the inside of the hood.
Good point. While the odds would seemingly be low of it happening, I will be adding 15 seconds to the walk around making sure it's not happening to me.
/Not paranoid
//Or am I?

To the OP: sounds like you have it handled...lesson learned...free oil changes & taking a pass on the wash=good enough.

Guys, those F'in dealers don't care about your car once you buy it! Take care of it yourself!

I snapped some pictures this morning of some of the wheels. They all pretty much have all the same damage. On one of the pictures, you can even see the finish running down the spoke.

Mine had the same type of damage, the acid that was used in the cleaner has eaten into the paint. There is no way that can be buffed out. They will need to be repainted.

Hold out for new wheels. You'll get them.
/Have them lose the blue dots for you next time.

That is the only option I'm giving them. Funny thing is, I've never noticed those blue dots till you pointed it out

nah, not IForged...DPEs, lol!
Yeah, I wrote on paper for the service consultant: "No Wash Pls, Thx"
After thirty minutes, service consultant came back and said that my car was wash
I quickly went to check my car...and I made sure he came with me.

Service consultant was very cool, he knew I did NOT want my car washed.
In the end I got brand new wheels (>$4300).

...and no, I could not keep the old damaged ones, lol

+1 for Nationwide Infiniti

Just spoke to the service manager, Jeff. He explained that he just got the OK from management and Infiniti to order me a new set of wheels. Should be in early next week.

He also apologized for the inconvenience and said he is trying to make everything right for me.

Yes -- this was a big inconvenience but still everything was taken care of and I am still a happy Infiniti customer!

Glad they worked everything out for you.

My right passenger side wheel had a small knick on it. I saw this once I got it home. Took it to the dealership, they got it re-finished and gave me a 2 free oil changes for some reason.

The wheel looks exactly the same as the other and you can't even tell it was repainted. Either that, or they got lazy and just slapped on me new wheel.
