It really depends on the wheel's offset, if you use spacers, and lots of other factors. You should take a stroll through the tire and wheel section of the forum and read all the posts there. They will answer most of your questins. The best way is to test fit the actual wheel and tire you want on the car before buying it but that's not always practical. I believe that any 295 ill rub and or stick out. Maybe 285 would work depending, 275 will work. You need to get the complete tire size including width, and sidewall height (profile).

ok ok thanks alot bro really appreciate the help, sucks though when you can get a set of tires for free lol and realise its gonna be a headache.

Size of the tire has nothing to do with whether or not you will need spacers. That is determined by offset and wheel design.
