VPP is out I think

ohseedee had posted in the other thread, but it seems that the g is now available for VPP.
I logged in and checked on their website to verify what ohseedee said and sure enough the website was updated and now says that all 08 Models are eligible for VPP
Infiniti - Incentives valid for 11/1/2007 through 11/30/2007

Infiniti Models Retail or Non-IFS Lease Incentive IFS Lease Incentives
. MY07 MY08 MY07 MY08
Q45 $0 n/a $0 n/a
M35 $1,500 n/a $0 n/a
M45 $1,500 n/a $0 n/a
G35 Sedan RWD $0 $0 $0 $0
G35 Sedan AWD $0 $0 $0 $0
G35 Coupe $0 $0 $0 $0
QX56 $0 $0 $0 $0
FX35 $0 $2,500 $0 $0
FX45 $0 $1,000 $0 $0

- Eligible MY07 Infiniti vehicles: ALL

- Eligible MY08 Infiniti vehicles: ALL

I have been checking everyday for last week or so and prior to today it did say that
Eligible MY08 Infiniti vehicles: g35 sedan, FX35/45, and QX 56
It reads like its out!

Incase anyone wants to call them to verify: Our help support center is staffed Monday - Friday 7am to 7pm CST (800)299-4753
And it also seems they have given cash back incentive on the FX and QX now...08's

It all depends on which tier you qualify for with VPP.

For employees of NNA and Affiliate-companies and their immediate family members, the VPP price is calculated as follows:
A & B PLAN

* Dealer invoice
* Minus VPP discount (Nissan 4.3% : Infiniti 3.58%)
* Plus dealer added options, Security Plus, Infiniti Extended Protection Plan, etc.
* Plus destination and handling charge
* Minus applicable incentives
* Equals participant’s purchase price

For NNA and affiliate employee sponsored friends and extended family members, the VPP price is calculated as follows:
C PLAN

* Dealer invoice
* Minus VPP discount (Nissan 2.87% : Infiniti 1.65%)
* Plus dealer added options, Security Plus, Infiniti Extended Protection Plan, etc.
* Plus 2.5% delivery fee of dealer invoice after VPP discount has been subtracted
* Plus destination and handling charge
* Minus applicable incentives
* Equals participant's purchase price

When a dealership sells a new vehicle to you at the pre-negotiated price indicated above, it qualifies for a 5 percent delivery fee. For NNA and affiliate-company employees and their immediate family (A Plan and B Plan participants), NNA pays the entire delivery fee. For extended family and friends of NNA and affiliate-company employees (C Plan), NNA pays half the fee and the customer pays the other half. Please note that only dealerships in the continental United States, Hawaii and Alaska are eligible to participate in the VPP.

Launch was August, and if you Login to the website, it has been changed as of 11/1/2007 or (yest) to the changes mentioned in my first post..

In case anyone wants to login, click on "incentives" and the username and pasword are both: vendor (all lowercase)

The last line does not mean its not available now.

"THE 2008 G37 COUPE WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE THROUGH THE VPP AT LAUNCH."

...VPP wasn't available at launch...just because they have yet to remove that line doesn't mean a thing.

The info that bloodhound posted is what makes me think its available. I've been checking regularly and the site always listed a few infiniti vehicles as being eligible. Now it says "Eligible MY08 Infiniti vehicles: ALL"

Yup when I spoke to the Infiniti ppl a few wks ago and they gave me the login info they said it says eligible 08 models were g sedan, fx and qx. Thats now changed. I will try to call tomm and confirm.
Furthermore, there is no 08 g35 coupe, but it is listed in that column, indicating a possible typo from 08 g37.

I did see that the website still says it does not apply but......

I got an email 2 days ago from a dealer saying that they were "accepting VPP for all in stock coupes".

I am checking with another dealer to see if VPP is indeed applicable.

I'm guessing it might be...but perhaps the dealer that emailed me, added in the "in stock coupes" to get me to buy one off the lot. I'll see what the other dealer says because I want to order mine.
