Thanks all, here's what I'm using. Very nice mount although I would like a bit more extention, perhaps another secton or two of Manfrotto 3025. Camera is Canon's new HF11, most of this was shot in 1080/30p 24Mbs, maxing out AVCHD's capabilities. and then rendered as a 1280x720p Xvid avi and uploaded to Vimeo.

This could have been better with a wide-angle converter lens and no traffic, I just wanted to put something together with the footage I had. Need to find a ghost town in SC...

Nice vid Red. I wish you had another camera taking rolling shots from another car. Want to see the whole car and the Phantom GT30's spinning.

Yea, I need to poke in on G35 driver and see who's in the Charlotte area, there are very few G37S here, and the few I've seen are all stock, doubtfully enthusiasts. I did just order a wide angle lens which should help with twice the viewing area.

Sweet video man. I've got the Canon HF100. That new HF11 looks freakin sick with the 24Mbs AVC. As far as wide angle lenses if heard for these cameras the lense made by Canon is about the best one you can get. How well does that mount work? I've been interested in getting one but I'm nervous of strapping my camera to my car and having it fall of at 50mph and getting run over.
